Roccatella is the accessories brainchild from the creator and founder of the luxury footwear and accessories label, Be & D. Steve Dumain is an American designer known for his high quality, luxury leather goods. As a child, Steve collected vintage luggage and spent many hours exploring the accessories that lined the floor of his mother’s walk-in closet. Each handbag that Dumain produces for Be & D is handmade in the brands private, New York atelier. Be & D shoes and handbags are a favorite amongst top actresses, musicians, and other well known personalities.Steve decided to launch Roccatella after realizing that more women deserved the opportunity to wear luxury accessories and to be able to find advanced fashion pieces at a more democratic price point. Dumain chose to name the brand Roccatella after his 99 year old Italian grandmother, who is also the inspiration behind the line. Her family comes from Potenza, a small city in the south of Italy, and Dumain cites her chic and modern style as the foundation for the brand. Roccatella fuses modern aesthetic and functionality with timeless craftsmanship and lush leathers sure to outlast any time period or trend.
